Even though April’s Avengers: Endgame somewhat brought a conclusion to the story threads of some the original Marvel Cinematic Universe heroes, Spider-Man: Far From Home will technically conclude Phase 3 of the 23-film franchise.
In the film, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) tries his best to exist in a world without his mentor, Tony Stark. This journey will take him and his friends to Europe for a summer vacation, where he will run into a new crime fighter named Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal). But is he everything that he seems?
Their relationship in the film should be interesting, to say the least, as Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) introduces Mysterio to Peter as an associate to S.H.I.E.L.D., though his villainous role in the comics has some Spider-Man fans certain that he is up to something.
This new Spider-Man movie will be released in only a few weeks’ time, and to make everyone get even more excited, Sony Pictures has released five new character posters online, which you can view below.
Peter Parker returns in Spider-Man: Far From Home, the next chapter of the Spider-Man: Homecoming series! Our friendly neighborhood Super Hero decides to join his best friends Ned, MJ, and the rest of the gang on a European vacation. However, Peter’s plan to leave super heroics behind for a few weeks are quickly scrapped when he begrudgingly agrees to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of several elemental creature attacks, creating havoc across the continent!
Directed by Jon Watts, Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into theaters on July 5 and stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Remy Hii, Tony Revolori, Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders.
