Titans Team Up in a New Poster for DC Universe’s Live-Action Series

In a new poster for the upcoming live-action series Titans, the four young titular heroes unite for the DC Universe streaming service show.

Debuting Oct. 12 on the DC Universe streaming service, Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, and Lindsey Gort as Amy Rohrbach. The series will have its world premiere Oct. 3 at New York Comic Con.

The image depicts Brenton Thwaites as Robin, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Anna Diop as Starfire and Teagan Croft as Raven and it’s reminiscent of the cover of DC’s The New Teen Titans #1, although that cover, by George Perez, featured traditional teammates Kid Flash, Cyborg and Wonder Girl. The logo pictured also seems to be based on the one from the well-regarded 1980 comic book series, by Perez and Marv Wolfman.

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.
